Our fees are customary for medical care in the area.  We presently are providers for all major insurance companies.

Payment is due at the time of service.  Please bring your current insurance card to each visit.  Your card is needed to verify coverage and to bill your isnsurance company.

Our policy is to collect all co-pay, deductibles and any outstanding balance on arrival for your visit with the doctor.

We accept cash, personal checks, Visa or MasterCard.

We will file your primary and secondary insurance claims for you.  All account balances are the responsibility of the insured.  If you have questions regarding your account please contact our billing company at 877-791-1372 and they will be happy to assist you.  Your health is our primary goal and we will be happy to work with you regarding financial and insurance situations.

Sliding Scale

A Sliding Fee Scale, based on household income, is available to qualifying patients.  To qualify, patients must offer proof of income every 12 months.

Donations

At Rising Sun Medical Center, we offer high quality healthcare cost-efficiently.  We rely on community support and private donations.  Community support in all amounts are essential to our success.  We value all of our donors and thank you for your gifts to us!

Rising Sun Medical Center has established an endowment fund which was started by the generosity of the Ohio County Community Foundation and the City of Rising Sun.  When you think of making a donation, consider Rising Sun Medical Center.  

Rising Sun is a Section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Your donations are fully tax-deductible and we provide a tax reciept for all donations, whether monetary or for donated items.  It is our policy to protect the privacy of our donors and their relationship with us:

• We do not trade or sell our donor information with any other organization.
• Donors have the option of making anonymous contributions.
